Hi, I’m Colleen.
I’m an ex-Deloitte leader who founded Growth, Inc.
Here’s a little bit about me, and why I built this company.
I didn’t learn how to influence cross-functional teams—or get Fortune 500 executives DM’ing me on Instagram to hire me—by sitting through a long, expensive program.
I learned it the hard way: testing tactics in real time, in high-stakes situations, with difficult audiences. When something worked, I never forgot it.
That skill—communicating with influence—changed everything for me.
It’s how I built a multimillion-dollar business for Deloitte, created the firm’s Talent Experience & Employer Brand capability, and opened doors meant for people with far more tenure, title and “executive presence” than me (like getting invited to speak to the board of Deloitte’s largest client).
Along the way, I saw how many brilliant women were being overlooked not because they weren’t good… but because they weren’t being heard as a result of listening to outdated and biased advice like, “Be humble and wait to be noticed.”
So I started Growth, Inc. on the side of my desk to teach women the one skill that made me feel as powerful as I actually was: communicating in a way that makes people pay attention and influences action.
What started as a passion project turned into a movement.
I built a community of 60,000+, my content reaches millions every month without ads, and soon Fortune 100 companies, Ivy League universities, and global STEM organizations started asking:
“Can you teach all of our leaders to communicate like this?”
Now, I work with both women’s networks and broader leadership teams — because while the barriers for women are unique, every leader needs this skill to get the results they want in today’s hyper-connected, overwhelmed, and distracted world.
Influence no longer follows the rules of hierarchy. Just because you have a title doesn’t mean people will listen to you.
If you want leaders who inspire action, build trust across differences, and create workplaces people actually want to stay in—you need to give them proven tactics to cut through the noise, get heard, and influence action.
That’s what Growth, Inc. delivers.
Our research-backed workshops—like my flagship session, How to Talk So People Will Listen—and keynotes like Communicate Your Worth—aren’t full of theory. They’re practical, human, and designed to stick.
If you’re ready to equip your people with the skills they actually need today—let’s work together.
